Located in Portland’s historic Sellwood neighborhood with views of the Willamette River, Oaks Park has been “where the fun never ends” since 1905! Oaks Amusement Park is the last of the historic “trolley parks” still in operation in the northwest and among the oldest continually operating amusement parks in America.
Featured VIP wine … RAM Cellars is not just your average urban winery in Portland, Oregon. Like many other producers in Oregon, they work with small lots of premium wine grapes to produce and showcase natural wines.
They are a proudly transgender owned and operated winery. The winemaker, Vivianne Cerling-Marks, proudly came out as a transgender woman in 2018 and it is an innate part of their mission moving forward to raise awareness of and support causes and organizations that provide support for transgender and non binary people.
While making wine is Viv’s passion, the furthering of causes that directly benefit the LGBTQIA+ community is just as important to her. This year, in an effort to do just that, they’ve launched a new label, dubbed VIV, the sale of which directly benefits the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund through a $5 donation per bottle sold.
