Hello all, Sami here. Thank you for being here, this discussion means a tremendous deal to me. As someone who has experienced crisis through natural disaster myself, I have a soft spot for those in need right now and I'm compelled to open my heart and take action in the best ways I know how. With this fundraising series across the country, I am rallying my troops and network of businesses to spread awareness of this disaster through a series of "Purchase with a Purpose" efforts.

What is the overall concept, you might ask?

Allow me to elaborate.

The fundraising series is a combination of one-off, and ongoing sales initiatives that bring people together to raise awareness and proceeds back to the primary relief fund. Consumers opt-in to an offer such as dining options, retail sales, dinner events, wellness events, or raffles, and spend money as they normally would – but for a purpose with a cause. 

Please join me in these efforts on the ground in the State of Oregon, across the U.S., and online as I team up with multiple individuals, companies, and organizations to help those highly impacted.

Updated Monday, October 14th, below is the non-exhausted list of supporters that authentically align with my outreach, but certainly not limited to! If you are outside of these categories and still want to be involved, we need and welcome you! To get involved, click below to get the conversation started. Continue reading to learn more about how you can be involved.

  • Wine Brands | Wine Bars

    Whether you are a brick & mortar tasting room, or a wine brand without a physical space, we invite you to select One of your products, or create a bundle, as featured wine to raise funds. Suggested 20%-30% of bottle sales and/or $3 of glass pour proceeds go back to the Relief fund. ------------------------ Additionally, if you have an event coming up where you can involve this initiative, we welcome this! Planning assistance available. Open to other ideas!

  • Restaurants | Bars

    Multiple options here! The easiest would be to feature a dish, a cocktail, or bottle of wine as a featured item. ----- Featured Dish: ~25%. -------- Bottle of Wine, or Cocktail: ~20%-30%. -------- Additionally, if you want to host a dedicated one-off dinner/weekend brunch. Suggested 50% ticket sales proceeds. -------- Planning/Strategy assistance available. Open to other ideas!

  • Venues | Event Planners

    Do you have some gaps in your upcoming calendar? Get involved and utilize that day to feature this Cause. Suggested 40-50% of ticket sales back to the relief fund. Negotiable. Planning assistance available! Open to other ideas!

  • Food Communities | Independent Chefs

    Have access to host a pop-up? Or host a raffle? No matter where you're at in the country, on the ground in your market is all we need. $10-20$ raffle entries. Planning assistance available, Open to other ideas.

  • Wellness Events

    Let's plan a class followed by a gathering, or an open house style event! We'll have prepared foods and a mimosa/wine bar during or after. If you are not able to do this, let's find something to feature that best suits your business. Suggested ~30% of ticket sales. Planning assistance available.

  • Consumer Packaged Goods

    Any products related to food is ideal but not limited to food. Choose a product to feature as part of the fundraiser. It's your sale! You handle all of the branding and fulfillment straight to your new customer. Suggested 20-30% from that item. Strategy assistance available.

  • Individual Person

    Those with means to donate to our fundraiser, you can do so directly without participating in any of the retail sales and events!

The time is now. Time is of the essence. We need to act fast and activate as quickly as we possibly can so we can raise as much awareness and gather support for this crisis, as well as the awareness of this relief initiative. I am looking to get started as quickly as my participants can act. Please contact Sami via the form at the end of this page to get a conversation going and talk through logistics, strategy, etc.

This component is under construction as we fully launch. There are a handful of businesses ready to support currently in conversation! I will update this area ASAP with information such as the business name, location, what their offer is, and how you can locate it! Thank you so much to everyone who is already a part of this.

Your contribution means the world to those affected. The proceeds amount is a sliding scale based on what the business or individual can do and is determined by what kind of offer is structured. Individuals, any amount. Businesses, anywhere from 20% to 80%, the choice is yours. Businesses and individuals donating will donate funds directly to the dedicated page on the fundraising platform.
When we are ready to withdraw and send them to the Relief Organizations, they'll be deposited into a bank account specifically opened for this fundraiser and then sent off. (A full list of ORGs coming soon). 100% of the net proceeds will be donated.

An individual who wants to donate by Purchasing with Purpose! For individuals, please be patient as we get this off the ground and offers up and running.
